WHAT TO EXPECT
The award winning ArcTanGent is the world’s ultimate music festival for connoisseurs of Math-rock, Post-rock, Noise-rock, Alt-rock and everything in between. Previous acts include Russian Circles, This Will Destroy You, Fuck Buttons, MONO, And So I Watch You From Afar and 65daysofstatic. Capacity is strictly limited to 5,000. You’ll get 3 nights camping, over 70 bands across 4 stages, a silent disco and some of the best food and drink money can buy. ArcTanGent, the best weekend of your summer guaranteed!
ArcTanGent is hosted on Fernhill Farm, Compton Martin, BS40 6LD, only a short journey from Bristol city centre, Bristol Temple Meads Station and Bristol Airport. The entrance to the festival is on the B3134.
- No dogs or pets on site.
- Fires and charcoal BBQs are not permitted on site.
- No drugs.
- SLR and other professional cameras are only permitted on site with a press pass. Compact digital/film cameras are fine for all non-press attendees.
- Under 18’s need to be accompanied by an adult (a responsible person over the age of 21).
There is no minimum age restriction, however under 18s must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Under 18s without an accompanying adult will not be permitted onto the site.
There is a “bring your own” alcohol limit at ArcTanGent. Guests over 18 (with approved ID) may bring 1 crate of lager, ale or cider in non-glass containers or 1 bottle of spirits or wine in non-glass containers. For safety reasons glass is not permitted and will be confiscated. Under 18s will not be permitted to bring alcohol onto the site and will have it confiscated by security.
BBQs AND CAMPING STOVES
Small gas camping stoves can be used providing they are off the ground and do not scorch the grass. Fires and charcoal BBQs are not permitted on site, as a condition of our license; however, there will be a large communal bonfire.

Music finishes by 11pm each night and will be followed by a Silent Disco until 3am. The full line up can be viewed here.
BOUTIQUE AND PRE-PITCHED CAMPING
Tangerine Fields provide a range of choices for camping options at ArcTanGent. From bell tents, to cosy cubes, geo domes and pre-pitched dome tents; there are options for all budgets. If you are travelling from overseas or wish to travel light to get to ArcTanGent, you can also purchase mattresses, bedding, sleeping bags and other camping accessories which will be waiting for you when you arrive. Cash machines are available on site.
ArcTanGent tickets include camping onsite at Fernhill Farm. There is not a dedicated family campsite at ArcTanGent as we are not a child-orientated event. For pre-pitched tents please see boutique and pre-pitched camping above.
Campervans are permitted on site. There is a designated campervan parking area. Camping is not permitted in the campervan parking area.

As a condition of our licence, dogs are not permitted on the site (except guide dogs).
ArcTanGent is not a child-orientated event; however families are welcome to attend. There is no dedicated family campsite however the far corner of the camping field is the quietest option. Under 13s tickets are available for free from our website. There are a limited number of these tickets available. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
There is on site first aid provided by St. John’s Ambulance.
ArcTanGent uses a “Challenge 25” and “Proof of Age” scheme, so anyone who looks under 25 must bring official ID (passport, driving license or other photo ID). Anyone without the relevant ID will be issued with an under 18 wristband.
An information/lost property point is situated in the middle of the site.

ArcTanGent merch is available in the Merch and Record Store Area. Also available is merchandise from the bands performing at ArcTanGent and other merchandise from our partner record labels.
Illegal Substances may not be brought into the site. You may be searched at the entrance. Refusal to be searched will result in the denial of entry.
A silent disco takes place on the Friday and Saturday night (from 11pm-3am). Headphones are available for a £10 refundable deposit.

The site officially closes at 14:00 on the Sunday.
On the Thursday you will be allowed into the campsite from 9am and Wristband Exchange will be open from midday.

ArcTanGent are looking for creative people to create interactive spaces, contribute to site décor or to make some amazing ideas come to life. To run an arts space at ArcTanGent please email info[at]arctangent[dot]co[dot]uk to obtain an application form.
ArcTanGent is held on Fernhill Farm, Cheddar Road, Compton Martin, BS40 6LD however the entrance is on the B3134. There is a car park at Fernhill Farm. Car parking is charged at £10 for the duration of the weekend. Advanced parking tickets can be bought here at a cost of £7.
The Big Red Bus company will again operate a regular shuttle bus service from Bristol Temple Meads, with buses departing every 20 – 30 mins. Shuttle buses will also pick up passengers from the public bus stop opposite the Airport Tavern on the A38 outside Bristol Airport.
On Thursday a shuttle service will operate from 10.30, with buses departing every 20 – 30 mins until 18.00.
On Friday 19th a limited service will be in operation, with buses departing at 10.30 and 13.00 from Bristol Temple Meads, picking up from the public bus stop opposite Bristol Airport at 10.30 and 13.30, respectively.
On Sunday 21st a return shuttle service will operate from Fernhill Farm from 08.00, with buses departing every 20 – 30 mins until 14.00.

If you plan to travel to ArcTanGent by train, the best station to arrive at is Bristol Temple Meads.
If you are travelling to ArcTanGent from overseas, the closest airport is Bristol Airport. From Bristol Airport the easiest way to get to the festival site is by Taxi. If you arrive at any other UK airport, please refer to the other modes of transport for onward journey to ArcTanGent. The festival site is less than 10 miles (approx. a 20 minute drive) from the airport.

ACCESS AROUND THE SITE
ArcTanGent is held on a farm. There are a few hard roads around the site but these are stoney roads that in wet-weather may become mud-covered.
PERSONAL ASSISTANT / CARERS TICKETS
TICKETS REQUIRE VALID ID
A valid form of photo ID is required to redeem your ticket. Accepted forms of ID are driving licenses, passports and Proof of Age Scheme card (e.g. Validate UK, Connexions Card).
If you have not received your eticket or you need to re-print your ticket you can do so by logging into your Eventbrite account here.
Name changes are possible by logging into your Eventbrite account.
Refunds are not possible. Please refer to our terms and conditions for more information regarding our non-refund policy.
BUY NOW PAY LATER TICKETS
To upgrade (or transfer) your tickets from a Buy Now Pay Later ticket to a full ticket (at any time between now and May 1st) simply log into your Eventbrite account via http://eventbrite.co.uk/mytickets
You may need to set up a password if you don’t have an account already. However Eventbrite will have stored a default username for you as the email address you used to buy tickets.
To find your ticket for ArcTanGent in your Eventbrite account:
- Click “View Order” On the right hand side. (Not the actual icon or title of the festival).
- Click “Transfer” & select the full price 2 day, 3 day or VIP ticket to which you wish to transfer.
It will then ask you to pay the remaining balance (minus the deposit amount you’ve already paid).
UNDER 10’s TICKETS
Under 10s tickets are available for free from our website. There are a limited number of these tickets available. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
FOOD & DRINK
ArcTanGent operates a ‘Challenge 25’ policy. If you look under 25 please do not be offended if we ask you for proof of age when buying alcohol. We accept the following forms of identification: Current UK Passport Current Driver’s License or Provisional License Proof of Age Scheme card (e.g. Validate UK, Connexions Card). Even if you have been issued with an over 18’s wristband you may still be asked for ID at the bar. It is illegal to buy alcohol for persons under the age of 18, if you do you risk being ejected from the festival.
At ArcTanGent we aim to offer a wide range of food choices. There are a range of vegetarian, vegan & gluten free options available as well as some damn tasty meat options for those that can handle it.
